Our Challenge
The neurodegenerative Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, ALS, is a ravaging, quick-acting phenomenon. Attacking the brain nerve cells responsible for controlling voluntary muscles, ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, does not differentiate between victims and in Israel there are nearly 700 patients. IsrA.L.S is the only organization in Israel dedicated to raising awareness and support for this insidious disease.
